ORA-16472: failover failed due to data loss


Cause:


The database was in MaxAvailability or MaxProtection mode but terminal recovery finished with data loss.



Action:


For a data loss failover, issue ALTER DATABASE ACTIVATE STANDBY DATABASE command.
