ORA-16464: operation not allowed


Cause:


An attempt was made to issue the ALTER DATABASE FAILOVER TO or the ALTER DATABASE SWITCHOVER TO FORCE command on a database other than a physical standby database.



Action:


Issue the command on a physical standby database.
