ORA-01999: password file cannot be updated in SHARED mode


Cause:


The operation failed because the INIT.ORA parameter REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE was set to SHARED.



Action:


Set the INIT.ORA parameter to EXCLUSIVE.
